60,000 Sq. Ft.
Description:
Shoe Carnival is a major retailer that had outgrown previous office space. Butler Heavy Structures performed the structural engineering and fabrication of this 60,000 sq. ft. facility. By selecting a pre-engineered building system, the owner gained a faster delivery needed to overcome several months of delayed construction start.
The building included an MR-24® standing seam metal roof system with a combination of oversized brick, EIFS and blue-tinted glass facade. Each wing was designed to accept expansions that would add 24,000 sq. ft. The full-height atrium at the entrance extends beyond the front wall line of the building’s footprint. The projects exterior appearance also fully met the strict covenants of the business park owner.
