While Heavy Structures' customer base crosses nearly every industry, the types of projects that we execute will generally fall into one of three broad categories. First is large clearspan structures such as sports facilities and aircraft hangars. The second is heavy indsturial complexes such as steel mills, power generation and heavy manufacturing, and the third category is highly architectural structures such as entertainment venues. We provide inspired solutions for complex structures.

    This aircraft hangar is the largest in the world for the US Navy. The dual-purpose layout required for this unique facility allows it to initially hangar eight P-3C Orion aircraft and ultimately six of the larger P-8A Poseidon turbofan aircraft.

Shenkman Training Center will provide UConn’s football team with a 120-yard long synthetic playing surface and an 18,000 sq. ft. strength and conditioning area.
