This facility was originally built as Coral Sky Amphitheater but has gone through several name changes in its history, the most recent being to Cruzan Amphitheater. Located in Southern Florida, this entertainment facility provides covered seating for 7,500 music patrons and can accommodate an additional 13,000 concert attendees on the sloped grass berm adjacent to the facility.

Designed and supplied by Butler Heavy Structures, the structure features a diamond-shaped canopy which rises 46′ above the floor line. Trussed, rigid frames, which span from 160′ to 240′ across, provide the primary support. Conventional bar joists spanning from 40′ to 60′ serve as the secondary framing members.

Framing for the 60′ high stage area was also provided by Butler Heavy Structures. The 100′ clearspan frames were designed to support 76,000 pounds of lighting and sound equipment. Products used on the complex include a modified roof system with an acoustical deck for sound enhancement and alternating bands of Deep Blue and Island White metal wall panels on the exterior stage walls.
